A world of passwords

A recent survey showed that nearly 65% of all users have to deal with an average of 4 to 10 passwords. As a results, passwords are either simple or difficult  to memorize, and therefore users write them on a piece of paper for everyone to see.
The solution consists in using complex and specific passwords for each application, while avoiding to burden users with passwords impossible to memorize  It makes sense and value to secure and to make easy applications access to your company.

Your information is important: protect it!

Two factors authentication

With ID>Pass, users must have two authenticators: a PIN code and a token such as a smartcard, an USB key or a fingerprint. It provides security in case of theft and contributes in making the users more responsible for their information security.

Users just have to insert their token and type the PIN code: they are right away and safely connected to their applications!

No need to remember complex or difficult to memorize passwords: they are now safely stored in the token.
Benefits for the help desk are tremendous: the waste of time due to password issues (omission, locked accounts, etc.) is highly reduced.

SSOBox: the passwords magic box

IDactis designed SSOBox: a container where information about application (application windows features, accounts, URL, etc.) are stored. Login and passwords are securely stored in the token. SSOBox are designed to match your needs:

  • Connection to 1 application with 1 user account.
  • Connection to N applications with the same user account.
  • Connection to 1 application with N user account.

The windows type is detected by default. It is either “Windows type” or “HTML form

Other applications, such as emulators, can be automated.

Smart card: the best solution for unified security badge

Smart card is the easiest way to meet demand on unified security badge. On a single card you can group multiple technologies (Smart card secure chip, magstripe, and contact less antenna…). In fact, a lot of companies already use badges to:

  • Control building access,
  • Manage time,
  • Manage lunch.

It means that smart card can naturally integrate IT security. Then users have to possess their badge to get in and out of buildings: it is the guarantee that workstations are secured because smart card is required to start and launch applications.
You do not have to change your existing infrastructure: only badges have to be replaced. Two possibilities can be offered:

  • You have your own badge personalization system: either you or your badge provider sends us new badges and we embed our chip.
  • You do not have your own badge personalization system: we deliver new badges in connection with a provider who makes you a proposal of a whole system including graphical personalization.
